When it comes to fashion accessories, jewelry is among my favorites. There are so many jewelry brands out there – different designs, different shapes, different styles, different price ranges, and so on, there is no shortage of jewelry. I can’t imagine a woman not loving jewelry, an exquisite way to express oneself and one’s personality, as well as one’s femininity. Every woman has, no doubt, her favorite jewelry. My favorite jewelry brand is Swarovski.
The founder of the brand is Daniel Swarovski, and the history of the company goes back to the end of the 19th century, when it was established in Austria in 1895. Besides jewelry, Swarovski also produces luxury figurines, home décor, chandeliers, loose crystal elements. The main craft material used by Swarovski is crystal.
Some would say Swarovski is quite pricey if not too pricey, and I will agree with that. I can’t necessarily afford to buy too many Swarovski pieces, but I indulge from time to time. They are just so exquisite, that I can’t help it. My love for Swarovski started when I got a stunning evening necklace for my birthday from my husband, and since then I also acquired a purse holder and a bracelet. They are really gracious.
In fact, my relationship with Swarovski goes beyond wearing their jewelry. Since I started writing about fashion, I also started a professional relationship with the brand. I once contacted Swarovski Public Relations department and asked them permission to use photos from their website for my articles about fashion. The PR manager who responded me back gave me the permission to do so. Even more than that, she was so nice that she sent me promotional material for my writing use – catalogues and pictures. Now I get invited to fashion events organized by Swarovski in Toronto, like new collection launches, in my capacity of fashion writer.
Useless to say, Swarovski jewelries are absolutely gorgeous. Necklaces, pendants, earrings, rings, bracelets, purses, as well as accessories like charms, key rings, phone accessories, wallets, cuff links – they are really fabulous. Many of the jewelry sets are composed of three pieces – necklace, bracelet and earrings. Some of the statement sets which are present in each collection from Swarovski, and which are “adjusted” to the new season to come, are Glamour, Maniac, Naia, Night Time, Louise, and other jewelry sets. Other Swarovski jewelry sets are composed of more than three pieces – besides the necklace, the bracelet and the earrings, these sets (like Nova or Noisette sets) include rings, smaller necklaces, pendants. And last but not least, there are also stand-alone jewelries.
